• Professor at University of Paris 7 from 1975 to 1999,
• Directeur de recherches at CNRS (French Research Council) from 1994 to 1999,
• Professor at Ecole Polytechnique (France) from 1983 to 1995,
• Professeur at University of Provence (Marseille) from 1999 to 2003.

Collaborations

Collaborating on a regular basis with B. Teissier from Paris, D. Massey from Boston, C. Weber fom Geneva, H. Hamm from Munster on different topics of the theory of singularities.

Recently involved in a collaboration with G. Barsegian from Erevan on algebraic differential equations.

Regularly in contact with Vietnamese mathematicians in Hanoi and Dalat. Trying to implement a training school in Mathematics for education in Africa with the collaboration of M. El Tom.
